AI Isn't Taking Your Job (Yet)

Discover why AI still needs your careful supervision, even when it seems confident!

Working with AI? It's a double-edged sword.

I recently launched memories.cool, a web app built with AI. Here's what I've learned:

AI is remarkably helpful for content creation. It can write quickly and scale productivity impressively. But it's not perfect. Even AI-generated content needs human oversight to ensure clarity and context.

And when it comes to executing specific tasks, AI is surprisingly... unreliable.

Imagine assigning a task to your assistant who confidently confirms it's done perfectly. Only when you double-check, you find out there's a 70% chance it's wrong. Ouch.

What does this mean?

Programmers, rejoice as you aren't being replaced anytime soon! AI might boost your productivity dramatically, but every task it touches needs meticulous supervision. The idea that AI can autonomously manage critical tasks without oversight is simply not reliable today.

Here's a quick reality check:

  • AI is useful for content creation but still requires human checks.

  • AI struggles with precise task execution, hence you better supervise carefully!

AI won't take your programming job. Instead, it'll amplify your impact.

Don't fear AI; just keep a close eye on it. Your vigilance remains invaluable.
